Rebreathers are intriguing. They’re cutting-edge dive technology. Always wanted to try one?
The PADI Discover Rebreather program lets you dive with a recreational rebreather or a technical closed circuit rebreather (CCR) in controlled conditions with a PADI Rebreather Instructor. You’ll discover how quiet diving can be without bubbles and quickly learn how different buoyancy control is. A Discover Rebreather experience is an ideal opportunity to give rebreathers a try before you sign up for a full course. Or, if you’re already a rebreather diver, you can participate in the program to try a new or different type of rebreather.
What will you learn?
Your PADI Rebreather Instructor will explain how rebreathers work and go over basic safety and operational instructions, such as what the rebreather is telling you through the gauges and heads up display (HUD). In the water, your instructor will help you adjust your unit and get comfortable before letting you swim around and explore.
Scuba diving requires a minimum level of health and fitness. Chronic health conditions, certain medications and/or recent surgery may require you to get written approval from a physician before diving.
Avoid disappointment, download and review the Diver Medical form to ensure you won’t need a physician’s approval to dive before enrolling in a scuba course. Instructors, divemasters and dive shop staff are not physicians and should not be asked for medical advice. Only medical professionals can give medical clearance to dive.
Unfortunately, we are not able to offer any transportation services between local hotels and our diving shop. Guests are required to come to the shop to check-in for their scuba dive course.
To reach Seahorse Dive Center, you can take the Metro 2 Red Line to the terminal Elliniko station. Then you can take the bus 171 and alight at Kyprou bus stop. The diving shop is across to the bus stop. Also, at the metro stations are the ticket machines (and ticket staff) where you can purchase your all transport Athena Ticket.
Alternative, you can check map directions in google maps.
